Some cameras record video in interlaced form which is where the i comes from in 720i, 1080i, and 480i. If you want better looking video without the interlaced lines visible, you should de interlace your footage where it looks progressive. Which is where the p comes from in 720p, 1080p, and 480p. Just be sure to do this to your projects before editing, or just do it in your main user settings so it becomes your default sequence settings. This is much easier than dragging and dropping your de-interlace effect to each clip and rendering.
This is for Mac by the way.Someone commented on a video asking someone how to do this and I knew how so I decided to make a video about it. Also make sure the file is DefaultDesktop.jpg and actually convert it to a .jpg instead of just changing the extension. Make sure the background is also big enough for your screen. If you don’t know how big your screen is head to System Preferences > Displays and it should tell you.

Sony’s 3D Bloggie is among the first pocket camcorders to have a double lens / double sensor 3D feature. This will definitely encourage the consumer market to get their hands on 3D camcorders, since these are pocket cams which are consumer-based. I think anyone who wants to shoot HD video and maybe a little 3D video here and there would like this camera. Imagine someone shooting a graduation or a wedding in 3D 0,o… lolwut?
Sony announced this new Handycam with a double lens and double sensor. The double lens and double sensor makes it able to capture real 3D instead of doing fake 3D in post. This is a good start for sony in thier 3D line of Handycams, although I don’t think it will be necessary.

The iPhone on Verizon can only result in a good thing. The design is barely any different from the original iPhone 4 on AT&T, but it is a result of the CDMA chips that Verizon requires. Unlike AT&T and T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint use the CDMA network. The 4g LTE that Verizon has does not currently work for the iPhone 4, but will probably in the next generation. The iPhone 4 will be shipping February 10th 2011, a week after a special pre-order date for existing Verizon customers where they can get the iPhone 4 if their contract ends in a specific amount of time.
This is an unboxing of Apple’s new version of their application suite iLife. This will be just an unboxing video, in a few days i’ll put up a review of iLife 11 along with the applications that come with it. As of now I really like the price of it and if you have Mac OS X you should really consider it.
